Biega is an offensively geared defenseman who originally spurned the Quebec junior league to join the New England high school hockey circuit. Although undersized, Biega is a good skater, offensively-oriented with great leadership abilities. He's also thought of as a smart player, so it's no surprise that he was accepted to Harvard University.
Biega is currently the leading scorer for Harvard. How the Sabres' brass views him is unknown.
