Lydman on his own isn't as good as Tallinder but he compliments Tallinder well. A good skater, like all Buffalo defensemen Lydman makes a good initial outlet pass. He can get knocked off the puck on occasion and has a bad tendancy to make a big mistake or turnover. But overall he's fairly solid and there's no reason why he and Tallinder won't be the team's top defensive pair again this season. |
